Default Muffler Mod Questions

Hey everyone!
I am a bit unimpressed by my Crossfire's stock muffler, and was wondering how loud the car gets after a muffler delete. I saw a YT video, and man it sounds amazing, but I live in CA where the max exhaust noise is 95dB. If it is over 95dB, then what are some good replacement mufflers that sound good but wont get me in legal trouble?
Thanks!

Don't know if this would be something you would want to do but I have a friend who wanted his Crossfire to sound a bit louder and bolder.

What he did was take the car to a performance shop and had them install a cut out in front of the muffler that exits on the driver side in front of the rear wheel. Kind of like a lake pipe from the old days. Sounds great, not too loud, and he can cap it off if needed. They did the job for about $150.

Most performance exhaust systems produce around 95 decibels (dB). Ask the speed/muffler shops which products/ratings are available.
Consider a muffler delect, check the resultant db level and go from there if necessary. (Ditch the extra weight as the OEM muffler may weigh about 27 pounds)

These look hella nice! I do want to keep the stock exhaust tips, do you know if there is a way to do that with these? And are they CARB approved

Sounds good, I'm taking ATECH classes at CoA right now, so I'll ask if anyone there can help me out.

I have never seen them with our OEM tips
Magnaflow is approved anywhere I'm sure and there are probably hundreds of Crossfires with this already installed
I have had this on both my Crossfires since 2010

I also have the Magna-Flow exhaust. Thestock tips can be welded onto them but it will require fabricating reducer pipes. The stock exhaust tips are a smaller diameter than the Magna-Flows. I wanted to do this originally, but it would have been to expensive. Also the smaller diameter pipes would restrict flow slightly.

Yeah, I am aware that they will restrict flow, but I really love the look of the exhaust tips.

I am looking into magnaflows, but they are a bit out of my budget, as I need to spend the money on new shocks as mine are worn.
