HID Install Lows and Fogs with Pictures
Yes. Too hot. Even a couple of 75W flood lamps, 2' away, left for a couple of hours, or longer (check surface temps) should work.
Just purchased a kit today , question
Post 209 page 11 in.Jesse James pictures there two wires that sent through the rubber housing with two (copper?) Clips on the ends , What are those for ?

did anyone get there light way to focussed on the middle ? i tried re aiming my lights but the HIDS provided useless light for me , i couldnt get the cars head lights to focus them out and properly or refract the light evenly , ideas?
Are you referring to the fact that the beam of light is focused straight ahead instead of to the sides? Because I believe that's a product of having projector housings as headlight units on the car.
Anyone else wanna chime in on this?
Not sure if this helps, but I usually have focusing issues (the full bandwidth of the light stream is not properly set into the housing so it either directs the majority of the lights beam very aggressibly down into the floor, or is very faint)
I overcame this problem by slightly bending the "key" on the HID that is suppose to nestle into the housing so that it angles the bulb higher.

i may try that, if i can bend the key it may just sit higher so it focuses better, the halogen bulb while not as bright gets almost perfectly even refraction over the road with clean cutt offs , the hids didnt , so they were brighter, but also only in front of me
Not sure if this is true, but DDM tuning warns of a Xenon shutter reflash needed. WFT is that?
Cars/trucks/motorcycles that have common issues with HID / LED: - Help Desk Software powered by DDM Tuning
Chrysler 300 series (2005-present): Low beams - May need error code eliminators (BOW3) or ECU flashed to turn on the Xenon shutter
- Chrysler PT Cruiser (2001-2007): Low beams - May need a wiring harness
- Chrysler Crossfire: Low beams - May need error code eliminators (BOW3) or ECU flashed to turn on the Xenon shutter

And use BOW3 in the "Search" box.

P.S. If they actually work, it's pretty cheap.
I put Morimoto HIDs in my lows, they came from TheRetrofitSource with those thingeys for the CAN bus .......
Same here, but didn't want to spend another $150 for the fog light HIDs
These worked fine in my Xfire:
