Hey Rudy! Hope you can make it on the 19th. Then on the 21st, my wife and I will be taking the black base coupe to St. Louis. We're really looking forward to seeing FP down there. Is anyone else from Minnesota going to Crossfires Across America?
I was but conflicts with scheduling at work have now kept me from going. Hope you have a fun and safe trip. Hoping to at least make it to the tap on the 19th. It's gonna be close but I have an SRT so if I get out of there by 2:59, I should be there by 3!

I don't know if I will be there or not. As I had mentioned before we try to get to the camper every other week or so, and we haven't been last week, nor this week because of the poor weather on the weekends, so if it's nice we'll probably go down there. On the other hand, even if we do, I want to see about looking at some dogs that weekend, so perhaps we'll stay.
I had to put my dog of 13 years down on Mem weekend which was a real bummer. He apparently developed congestive heart failure and his chest cavity was filled with fluid and he was having a hard time breathing. They wanted between 1 and 2k just to figure out what was causing this, and I figured the end result was going to be the same, plus he was going blind, and even if "cured" his quality of life for the next 2 years at best would have been marginal. So hard decision, but had to be done. So now I get to look at another.
Anyway, hopefully I can make this run, it would be nice to see you guys. Mark
Sorry to hear about the dog, Mark.
Sounds like 3PM at Lion's Tap is a go! See you guys there.
BTW, is anyone planning on going to Veterans Memorial Park in Shakopee on Saturday (June 12th) for German Car Fest? It's going on from 9am - 2pm and there are usually a couple hundred German cars there (not sure if our X-Fires count...)

Take care all and BTW, First Gear Garage in Eden Prairie ROCKS!!! Just got home after putting the new diff in my car. So far everything is good.
I'm off to bed but you all have a great weekend and be safe.

Mark, I know what you went through with your dog. We had to put our 12 year old yellow lab down while we were on South Padre this winter. One of the hardest things I've ever done. We rescued a Border Collie a week later. It helped getting another dog.

Just kidding. Look forward to meeting you and anyone else that wants to join us.
Hope to see some folks out there...sounds like a good time.
For anyone that's in the NW area of town, I'll probably leave Rogers at 2:30 to be at Lion's Tap @ 3PM. I'll hang out in the Kohl's parking lot if anyone wants to caravan down.
Looking forward to meeting some folks.
