Jso many people are terrified of Craigslist .. Not I. Found and bought this beauty (nick name Vicky but my friends call it the "space coupe" hence my username) for 4K flat from guy in Lancaster PA.

I live in Maryland and definitely have plans for the car moving forward into the future hope to keep you guys informed and and even answer some question possibly and get some as well.

Seems like such a welcoming community so why not say hello for the first time since I'm just getting into it all.

hopefully I can gather the time and funds to meet some of you at the Dragon in October 🙃

ha ! Thanks 😂 I do have one question but I've already seen the thread for it so I'll post there but I case anyone is curious before I post the thread.

Recently like as in a couple days recent, upon cold starts and even sometimes when I'm driving the speedometer and odometer stops working the spoiler deploys (regardless of speed and won't let me lower it back down) and the bas esp , abs , brake wear indicator & brake light all turn on. Not too sure why but so far the only correlation I've found is that like I said upon cold starts it happens

When the spoiler deploys when starting the car it is usually because the battery is weak and on its way out
This is the #1 thing to check as it might be time for a new battery
It should be holding 12.6 volts or better after parked and not running
This may be the cause of some of the other strange things you have mentioned too
Low voltage really messes with the Crossfire's

And clean the hell out of the battery terminals while you are replacing the battery. Pay attention to the condition of the battery ground cable where it attaches to the fender.

If the ground cable looks really bad, change it as well. You can get a generic cable at AutoZone, etc. for $15 or less. Consider doing James' mod when you do this, read this entire thread:

thanks valk, I bought a multimeter today and did some test so far it's above 12.6.. It's holding 12.9 volts when's it's not running and a little over 14 volts flat when it's running.. But these are results after it being warmed up.. I'm gonna try again In the morning after the car has completely cooled down.

I started a new thread over in the technical section
