Here is an update to my last post. Remodeling complete. Wife has decided to transfer to a different college so I'm moving in a couple of months to Huntsville AL. I have calculated several theoretical designs now and I am going with a single turbo with low boost for efficiency, simplicity, reliability, and maximum power output. I have to check and see if there is a dyno near Huntsville. New materials for new manifolds will be here by Wednesday. I'll probably tear the car down on Thursday. I'm going to try and find a ML320 and finish the supercharger kit. All that torque could probably hook up with the added weight.

I figured if you dump the entire stock intake manifold, the single turbo will fit perfectly over the bell housing, and align perfectly with the exhaust pipes. just snake the pressure output pipe from zee turbo over the top of the motor to feed a simpler designed manifold.

everything is sooo easy to say...

all that torque would hook up fine with the supercharger on the crossfire also, lol, which is why they sell a supercharged crossfire. some people here are putting down 400 wtq.

sorry haven.t logged in a long while. so is chuck going to sell the supercharger kit or no? and he is setting up the turbo kit? sorry for the questions but my computer is messed up and wont let me look at previous pages for some reason. i pray that a kit comes out for these cars that makes us N/A's get to low 13's. o and i know this is a lil random and dont mean to get off topic but does anyone know how good that tvt 265 kit is? and what times people get with it. but chuck i pray that you figure out a turbo kit and tune and have us running with the Srt's!!!!

You pray alot. From my understanding, he has changed to building a turbo kit. Supercharger... maybe? As for the TVT 265, 50 extra ponies and 49 more ft/lb has to do something.

Yea, read about that one. Although I'm stoked, 3 to 4 grand for 45 more hp then a TVT265 which is already $1400 is steep in my book. But I look forward to buying the 300 kit's part individually over time.

Chuck may want to start a new thread in regards to the Turbo I couldn't read this whole thing but I'm VERY intreasted in the turbo set up and how it's progressing and even have a few ideas on locations.

Off topic Chuck a few people were discussing Chuck Norris and the power of his beard then someone else chimed in Bruce Lee had killed Chuck Norris in Enter the Dragon.... I was quick to point out Chuck did not have his beard and thus was not a fair fight. Chuck has since regrown and can not be defeated by any mortals.

Imagine if we get 10-20 people in on this that would be $2500-$5000 for a limited number of parts
I am certainly in for a SC mod that works.

a turbo manifold kit would be a HOT seller as it could interchange between SRT^ and NA crossfire.

Also the Hp gain would be huge on the srt's.

kinda like killing two birds with one stone CHuck, smart move but a lot of work. I would farm out the manufacturing to a Chinese company if possible.

im in the starts on working on a STS twin turbo system for the crossfire. i live in mobile alabama. we could get together and work on it if youd like. oh and by sts i mean sequential turbo system....where the turbos will be sitting between the 2 vents next to the exhaust!!!.

Why? Can't Americans do it because of all the jobs and skills that have been lost to Asia in the past few years. This type of thinking is a part of the problem.
Bring the jobs home.

America is indeed in need of new industry.
