Best OBD2 to buy
Sounds somewhat expensive compared to Torque or Touchscan & I used a mini dongle so I would not hit with foot since I leave in car.
Does it do something special ? (when rearended last year Torque had record of exact location and time).

Hi Padgett,
I don't think it does anything special other than you can add more sensors to it that will also transmit to it. It also supports IOS devices as i don't have a android phone. It would be nice to have something wireless so don't have to worry about cables as you would understand. That Tourque looks good but doesn't support Apple.

More sensors like what ? These use Bluetooth wireless and I can use my phone, Galaxy Android tab, or Encore Windows tab to read either the dongle in my Crossfire or one in the Jeep (others are not OBD-II).
Did kind of overloaded my phone on New Years eve though: phone was being a phone, playing music, running Torque, and the Sat-Nav at the same time and the Sat-Nav could not get a GPS fix until I rebooted. Annoying. I'll have the Windows tab mounted on the glovebox door (have to make a dock) by the weekend and it has about 8x the computing power of my phone.

if your on board computer doesn't transmit something you want you can add it, at a cost of course. (not that i need too). see this link Accessories - PLX Devices Inc - USA
I will just have to do some more searching around.

This is interesting, directed spam. At least it is not for kitchen cabinets but those prices are silly.
I get just about everything through Amazon these days, if something is not right, they fix.
Of course PT was right.
