Default Car Dies when Driving

Starts up fine. Driving along and when I come to a stop or slow down my 2008 Crossfire dies. Usually starts right up last night wouldn't start until it sat about 1 hr.
Help Why Why Why?

Most likely the crankshaft position sensor, it can get too hot and that is why it took an hour for the car to start again. Buy a Bosch one only, various part numbers 0031532828, 0261210170 etc. There is an aftermarket version by Bosch that is super cheap do not buy genuine Mercedes or Chrysler.

2004 original owner. This happened to me Once (of course, I was on the other side of town - ugh). Driving smooth and fine and suddenly/quietly the engine turned off while I'm moving at 50 mph. It was the O2 sensor in the engine bay.

There is no way I can see an 02 sensor will shut off an engine.

I'm with Ronman, try replacing the Crankshaft Position Sensor. Less than $30 on Amazon. Give it a try and if that's not the fix you'll want the spare anyway. And how to replace it... This chick can do it easy enough. Don't drop/lose the bolt!

A bad Oxygen Sensor will cause the car engine to stall. If you park and wait a few mins it'll start back up only to stall out again on you.
I also agree it could be the crankshaft position sensor. but if it isn't... swap the O2.

Good Luck
