alarm no worky
Hello,
So I started by pulling the original alarm, cut it in half, and the batteries had leaked everywhere.
Ordered a new one from Needswings and installed it yesterday.
Good news it that the chirp now works with lock/unlock.
Bad news is that I can't trigger the alarm from the remote's panic button.
Thoughts???
Michael

I believe that they do not go off as soon as the button is pressed but after a few seconds. Are you waiting long enough?
roll down driver window
turn off car and remove key
close door
lock car with remote
wait a minute
reach in through window and open door from inside handle
does the alarm go off now?

So I guess this means that both remotes have a defective alarm button?
That may be a wrong assumption.
Not sure if I mentioned, but I did check the fuses under hood.
I am open to a correct assumption

Agreed, but since my wife and daughter will be driving from time to time, it would give me comfort in having it work.
