Check Engine and Wing up
Hello all,
unfortanatly my Crossfire has been in the garage for some time (under a cover and trickle charge) but went to take her out and had a check engine light and wing up situation. Suspect the Wing up is battery, although that surprised me since the battery isn't to old and its been on a trickle charge the entire time in the garage. I don't want to mess with battery (if thats it) until I figure out the check engine light. So looking for some input
ODB scan tool- any recomendations to one, just need something to read out the error code(s), not plans to tweak things. Saw some on Amazon that appeared resonable
If anyone is on the east side of Orlando and doesn't mind me borrowing I would appreciate that.
Wing up, if not battery is that an indicator of something else?
thanks all
Scott

For a cheaper one, I like the BOSCH 1100. Gives live data, which is fun and helpful.
Wing up is almost always battery but if you drive it and have no speedometer or it refuses to come out of park, the RCM's traction control output is missing (bad fuse, bad relay, fractured solder connection).

Thanks Pizza Guy. Was hoping to get away cheaper but its not to bad and does look like it reads ABS too.
Well, took for a quick spin and no speedometer movement. Will check fuses and relay. Thanks

What are options if the relay is good, is the traction control unit something that can be repaired?
Also, the ABS - BAS/ESP lights are on. I've seen that before, went off after pumping the brakes a few times since it was sitting. Didn't go off this time with a short run around the block. Ugg,wonder if this is all connected.
Big thank you shout out to Zeracer for helping troubleshoot my issue and to D.J. rebulding my RCM and quick turn back. Had a chance to drive today (finally) and everything is great. The wing up was also due to the RCM
thanks again!
thanks again!
