Another Door Lock Issue
I have a 2007 Chrysler Crossfire. The locks are not working. I can unlock the drivers door with the key, however the riders door, deck lid and gas filler doors will not unlock with key or switch on dash. Any ideas out there. Key fob will not unlock any of the doors. Thanks
Does anyone know where I can get a Power Lock Control Module for a 2007 Crossfire? Thank you.

Wait, if the button also does nothing, it's almost gotta be the CLP-SSM. "2007 Chrysler Crossfire" - Not enough information, is this a Roadster or a Coupe?
This is not an introduction thread, it's a tech help request thread - moved to appropriate forum.
Understood this is a Roadster..... Not surprising.

I've replaced two of these, in both cases, this fixed locks that dont work and a top that wont go up or down.
IN both cases, water had got into the CLP/SSM and ruined it. You willl need the CLP/SSM and the last 2-3 feet of the wiring harness. The plugs and pins in the connectors will be RUINED by water damage.
All you can do is cut the old harness and splice in the new section with those little blue or pink "butt splices".
It is a roadster, the lights will blink when I push unlock on key fob, however none of the doors want unlock (gas lid, deck lid and riders door will not unlock). I can only unlock the drivers door with the key, but the other locks will not unlock,
Can you hear a hissing sound from the trunk area when you press the button on the fob?
Do you know if a Mercedes CLP/SSM (Central Locking Pump, Security System Module) P/N 17080000848 fit crossfire P/N is 5102774AA?
Thank you so much for responding.

To the best of my knowledge, the CLP/SSM is one of those parts that is unique to the Crossfire, but I could be wrong. The engine/drive train/chassis is an SLK320 but the BODY is not at all the same.
The CLP/SSM is technically and realistically part of the BODY not CHASSIS.
Let me ask a few guys in the Facebook Tech Group (the one that I trust).

Verdict is: "The Crossfire pump is unique to the Crossfire, I would stick with a pump from a Crossfire".
Which is what I suspected he'd say. I would also caution you that the brains of the CLP/SSM likely have model-specific code not compatible with other models.

It is 170 800 08 48
As you can see it is not specific to the Crossfire. It fits the coupe and roadster.

I KNOW the Coupe and Roadster use the same one - that was proven years ago to my satisfaction, Dave.
