Default eletrical issue

have 05 auto low mile car less than 27k owned since Dec 23. car symptoms stalling in gear at stops not all time, car is dead meaning acts like battery is dead sometimes with no lights on dash or anything else also key fob don't do anything when this occurs and no crank or start like dead battery. i have replaced RCM,crank sensor, ground cable still having issues. pulled into work today and notice after shutting off car all power was lost again popped hood and wiggled wire loom going into relay box and notice lights came back on thought this was a ground issue replaced ground wire but obviously its in the wire loom any thoughts on which circuits i should investigate?

Who or where did you buy this Crossfire? A dealer or a private owner? Since you bought this car in December 2023, was it acting like this when you test drove it? Do you have the maintenance history on this 27K miles car?
  1. How old is the battery? Did you check the output, if less than 12 volts, you need a new battery, since the electronics requires at least 14 volts to run the systems. Get a voltmeter and check the output of the battery.
  2. Who told you to change the RCM and a CPS? This type of scenario will empty your wallet quickly, unless you have unlimited funds.
  3. The alarm siren maybe draining your battery, since the internal batteries tend to fail on our cars, since yours is 19 years old.
When you open a thread, we need a little more info from you, to enable a correct diagnosis.

Good Luck

You have found the problem. Now, go turn the lights on and start wiggling the wires till you find where the bad connection is, by seeing the lights flicker.
THis should be easy now.

Now, I do have one question - what "relay box" are you talking about? CLEARLY, the issue is in or near that spot.

i purchased it from a dealer of course it wasn't having these issue or wouldn't have bought or would have made them repair before purchased.so no symptoms on test drive around town or highway. matter of fact had to drive 3hour to purchased and drove it home after.only history on carfax didn't see anything would stand out with these issues.
1. battery is less than 4yrs.tested with volt meter if battery was dead car wouldn't start after wiggling wires? also had a load test battery good.
2.replaced rcm part because of symptoms of no crank start it was doing. replaced crank sensor when crank but no start symptom occurred after driving one day.
thought it was a ground issue that's why i replaced neg cable went to catch a flight yesterday again car was dead no nothing popping hood i moved neg cable all power came up in doing so must of moved wire loom to without noticing at 5am so that's why replaced cable. now i know for sure its in that wire loom going to relay box.not new to working on cars just new to European tech. avid mopar guy own a few. thanks.

thanks for pic yes that wire loom going into that fuse box on side next to battery in picture is the one i found that if i wiggled it things would come back on. was wondering if any body knew from symptoms i was having what circuit it would be to look for would assume its a supply power circuit if killing every thing.
When symptom occur.
1. dead car nothing has power key fob wont work either.
2. car stalling at stops in gear car is an automatic does not do this all the time.

Download the service manual from this forum, and follow battery feed to:

1 )The RCM
2) The tiepoints in the fuse box, driver's side, underhood.

I strongly suspect this is not actually in the box that contains the RCM (altho it could be). The 200 amp feed off the battery terminates both in the box that holds the RCM but also at the driver's side fuse box tiepoints. DO NOT make this harder than it is, the failure is right in front of you, it's just tricky to isolate.

In fact, you may very well be able to track this down without the manual, as moving wires around causes the failure. But if you study the wiring diagrams and take note of what goes out (headlights, radio, instrument panel lights) you can logically deduce where the failure is.

U may have a pin inside one of the connections ,,, bent or not going in all the way ,,either on the RCM or the computer,, check that it has happened more than once.
check all the plug ins inside your computer box. did U install a NEW or used RCM, if U soldered it yourself get a new one and send that one to TJ.
