Default Top not working

Every time I try to raise or lower my roof the fuse blows. Has anyone had this problem before?

That is an ambiguous question. Do not use the term "roof fuse", give us the fuse number.

There are three fuses that can blow when you try to move the top:
Roof Motor Fuse (fuse 6, 40 amp)
Power Top Control Module Fuse (fuse 5, 25 amp)
BCM FUse (fuse 19, 40 amp)
Fuse numbers are for 2007 Limited cars because that's the service manual I have. Your fuse location numbers may vary, so tell us what year/trim level your car is as well.

Where are you located? How long have you had the car and what year, and model is it? Has the top ever worked for you? It is imposable to diagnose without more info.

I defer to the experts, but it sounds like possibly a failing pump motor?

The 40 amp fuse powers ONLY the motor thru the two rotation relays. A bad motor would be my assessment.
The power top hydraulic assembly is generic, I'd grab one from a parts car and give it a try.
