How to Repair Relay Control Module (RCM) - (Mystery no Start)
The fix worked. If you are intimidated by soldering, do what I did. i called a local TV repair shop and asked if he would solder the spot. He resoldered every spot on the board for $25.
Doing all eliminated all other like issues that could come up with the board. Maybe some of the mystery malfunctions are cured ..Greg

TWO THUMBS UP!!!
DJ, Tighed1. I have to say this thread has been the most help I think out of all the "sticky's" we have posted. I just wanted to thank you again for saving all of us thousands of dollars... Can you even imagine all the money that would have been spent at the dealerships... might have brought them back from bankrupsy..lol... Thanks again DJ....
After a long time of having intermittent P0410 codes pop up on my car, I took my RCM apart and noticed that the air pump had burnt contacts. I cleaned the contacts with emery cloth and my car went a while without the P0410 code coming back. Now the code is coming back intermittently and I noticed the contacts are burnt again.
Does this mean I need to replace the air pump, or can I replace the relay on the RCM board?

i bought a new rcm for my crosssfire.it did the same thing as soon as it gets hot it shuts down.i`m not real sure what else it could be.

Last week, I turned the key and all I got was "Click click click". There was enough of a hill for me to let it roll, pop the clutch and get it started.
Since I was still on the original battery, I assumed it was the battery, so I got a new one.
The car was starting fine. I make a lot of stops in a day, so, maybe I've had a hundred or so starts since then, all fine. This afternoon, jump in the car, turn the key and I get "Click click click". Tried to let it roll and fire it up, but, not enough hill there (not even with me jumping out and pushing a bit). Checked the battery cables, tried again ... nothing ... sat and thought for a bit, tried again, and it fired right up. Fired right up just fine the rest of the day.
Got home, pulled the RCM. The joints all looked pretty good. I tweaked them up anyway (might as well since I had it out) ... so, I don't think that was my problem.
What else should I look at?

The starter.
Slow drain in the system somewhere -- something drawing constant power that's not readily known or visiible.
Hope you can find it.
I would think a "slow drain" situation would not allow for the car to sit while contemplating the meaning of life .. and then fire off..

If you do a lot of starts then the brushes may be sticking, there is a lot of residue from the brushes sparking and this sometimes jams them up or the brushes get too short. Also the solenoid just goes wrong, clicks but does nothing, no movement.
Sometimes the starter stops at the wrong point and the commuter is damaged at that spot, not your problem but ...

I just finsihed the fix. Yeterday my wife called me from a convenient store around the corner that her Crossfire would not start. I can hear the fuel pump and a click under the hood when she would try to start. Had it towed home. Today I resoldered the 3 amigos and it started but would not continue to run. After about 3-4 such attempts, it was back to click and nothing. If I pulled the negative terminal, waited about 30 seconds and replaced, the same 3-4 start but no run followed by the click and no start. Any other ideas. We have had NO problems until this time, the car is garaged and not heavily used (10K miles and we're the original owner of this 2005). Convertible 6 speed, not SRT.
THANKS!

How do I reset it???
No codes after the 3 start (it is 3 consistently) and both keys work fine to lock/unlock the vehicle with all the appropriate light blink, ... so I'm thinking it's not the antitheft. It is defintiely repeatable by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Upon reconnect I hear relays engage in the "boxed area" witht the RCM.
I'm about to put on a tin foil hat and say Chrysler programmed in a service call
I can't find the "3 start" issue anywhere myself. DESPARATE IN DALLAS and a HUGE tow bill away from a legitimate repair facility.
HELP!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a fuel filter / fuel pump / water in the fuel issue to me ......
just my 2 cents .....
If it starts after a reset and does not continue to run and there are no codes, then fuel is the normal suspect .....
