Thank you for the info!!!
The black ones are in stock @ both places listed in the first thread. East Coast ships free. Besides you aren't gonna see them so no reason for gold ones.

because I red it online which states every gold rod you add to your car increases the power by at least %5!
second best 'price/performance' ratio, right after red calipers

actually you are right, i am ordering the boring ones.

I have the gold ones simply because that was the only color they came in at the time. Installing them was the last time I saw them. My mechanic is the only one to touch them only to check alignment after mounting new tires. Make sure you coat the threads good with grease or Never-Seez and run the ends all the way in and out of the tubes just to clean the threads up and to check that they don't bind. Makes it easier to adjust them later down the road. I used Aqua Shield Marine Grease on the thread ends and tubes, inserts, and bolts to avoid any corrosion setting in. They've been on for a couple of years now and they're still perfectly quiet and tires are wearing perfectly too!

Great thread, my problem is the front camber, my front camber is -2.4 left and -3.6 right . That's over 2.1 away from spec. Will the Fronts only require the install of the eccentric alignment bolts. .Will the aftermarket/OEM eccentric bolts that allow +/-1.5 degree adjustment be close enough to spec. Using part number :2023300118.
I know the K-Mac would give more but that's more than I would like to spend. I
Just want tread life and safety
Thank you for any help you can give me.

The adjustment bolts should be fine. You'll need 2 for each side - 4 ea. total.

Has anyone successfully used the DIY rear control arms on a lowered Crossfire utilizing the Speedway forged steel 4-bar rod ends with the 7 or 11 degree shank in order to clear the rear sway bar. I would like to keep the stock sway bar end links.

I have not. I originally installed the DIY kit with the straight links and 4-bar rod ends but in the end I switched back to stock since I couldn't lower the car.

How much clearance did you have between the sway bar and the DIY rear control arms with the car at the stock ride height ? If any forum members can give me an idea of the clearance I'd like to see if the angled rod ends would help. At $80 bucks vs $260 for the Ground Control arms it would leave a whole lot of money for other things that I'd like to do to the car.

About 3/8 inch, as I recall.

I saw the pictures of your suspension when i was researching ways to fix this camber issue with these cars. From the looks of the red springs I figured you lowered the suspension. 3/8" is not much clearance. How often did the bars come in contact with each other ? Do you think the angled ends would help ? Thanks a ton for the pics and the write-up, the arms look first class, it's what got me to consider making my own instead of buying the GC's.

Not actually mine, I copied that picture from the DIY thread.
My car is not lowered.
I have seen no marks or evidence of any contact between the camber arm and the sway bar.
Yes, the angled ends would help a lot.

Picture doesn't show the cut flute in the threads. The adjustable bolts for the front should have a flute cut into the threaded end.
Try searching for Febi 202 330 01 18. You should find them for less $. You will need at the minimum one bolt for each side of the vehicle, but four bolts in total would be preferred.

The number is a Mercedes part number, drop FEBI and just use 202 330 01 18.
Example - CLICK
The bolt shows the flat and the washer shows the flat as well. These are 1/3 the price.

Thank you 180, previous poster said 2 would be ok but 4 would be preferable. Is there a specific reason for that? Thanks in advance
