When I turn my wheel to the extreme left I hear a grinding or rubbing
Sounds like the sound you hear when your pads are worn and you grinding metal on metal. Could it by my wheel rubbing after lowering the car with the Eibach pro kit? Also, does anybody else's brakes "creak" at slow speeds. Mostly from the rear.
Your tires may be hitting the fender liner or the inner fender. This can happen in tight turns. If you pull a wheel and look inside the wheel well you can see where it is hitting. If on the plastic fender liner, you will see some rough marks from the edge of the tire contacting the plastic. On the inner fender you will possibly see some shinny metal where the wheel has rubbed the paint off. These are considered friendly surfaces since they do not actually damage the tires.
flmjr is right, the H&R kit made our Crossfires a little bit too low that adding a wheel spacer in the front can damage the fender (i took mine off eventually). You just have to relearn your driving skills in avoiding or slowing down on humps and bumps!
^^^It doesn't rub at all going over bumps or when going straight. It only rubs when I turn my wheel all the way to the left when going into a parking space or something like that.
I'm thinking its rubbing somewhere on the inside but it sounds like metal grinding or brakes grinding when pads are low and not tire rubbing on metal or on plastic.
Only when turning lock to lock.

somewhat unrelated, but my help...
you should really never hold the steering wheel in the locked position. it relives alot of power steering pump pressure if you back off 1/8 of a turn, and it wont affect your turning radius. i've seen people who not only hold the wheel locked, but try to push it 'further' because they think it will tighten their circle... ouch.
back on track, the first thing i would check out is the new suspension setup. good luck maya --

mine "only" rubs in "reverse" when the front wheels are turned sharply. and it only rubs on the front side of the front tire area on the friendly surface.
take a look at one of my posts and the photos in my gallery. I had the same problem after doing some suspension work. wasn't damaging, just annoying. Oddly enough, after I replaced my OEM Continental tires with Toyo S1-R's the rubbing stopped. I can only assume the Toyo's are slightly smaller.

I'll bet you will see a small patch on the forward, inboard side of your wheel well on the drivers side, about the diameter of a 50 cent piece.

bingo Andrew!!! I guess that's what it is because you described it to a T. I guess I just won't worry about it since its not something that will damage anything. I'll just take care not to turn to lock position.

The same thing is happening to me, except I haven't done any after market things to my car. There is the same rubbing on the inside of my fender. Chrysler is saying, I hit something and they won't replace it. They want me to pay $250 for a new piece. I didn't hit anything. Anyone have any ideas on how this could happen to my car, without hitting anything or what I should do? The service rep thinks it may be from going over speed bumps...hmmm.
