BTW : I took a silver Sharpie and detailed all the letters and the star - mine was pretty cruddy from it's previous life. ( got it for $35 + shipping on Ebay )

I was driving along Hillcrest, when all of a sudden I heard a loud CRACK! I looked around the windshield and nothing - then about a minute later a crack in the windshield starts forming, and gradually it gets longer and longer. Now I have a 6 inch long L-shaped crack coming down from the top right in front of the driver's side--- bummer

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
I had what I call a 'low pedal', squealing pads and pads that did not float too well after applying the breaks. So I took apart each caliper, cleaned it, applied anti squeal to the pads and shims, lubricated the pins and lubricated the shoe slide areas.
Installed them and fitted Goodridge st.st'l. hoses, changed to Motul fluid and bled them.
Preliminary results show shoes are sliding OK with no squeal but the low pedal is still there. I just think there is too much pedal travel, that's what I call 'low pedal'. The brakes work OK, I have Akebono Euros. Some say they are like that, if so why?

Removed the valve head covers to replace the gaskets, re-installed them with the new gaskets, hand tightened the bolts. Waited an hour to tighten the bolts, got to the last bolt (star bolt below oil cap) and the head of the bolt twisted clean off with very little effort on my part.....
hopefully it stays sealed until the next time the gasket needs changing, crossing my fingers.

Re: What did you do to your Crossfire today?
Today, even though the tires that came on this car that I purchased a month ago only have 7,300 miles on them, I ordered a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season Radials for my Crossfire. The original Continentals were manufactured 6 1/2 years ago and upon close inspection, I did find some small cracks in the rubber at the edges of the tread blocks. I'd rather be safe than sorry, especially without a spare.
