You might post this in the "detailing" section. I have never heard of this problem and you must live where it is humid. I'd first make sure the inside is dry. The purchase of a small house dehumidifier may be in order. While bleach solutions are great on mold, I would be concerned about discoloring the top. I cannot think of anything I'd trust on the inside of the top except a gentle soap solution and a lot of elbow grease to remove the mold. Then make sure it is dried real well. You might have have to park the top in a half-open mode to get at it well. Keep in mind you have about 15 minutes until the hydraulics release and drop the top.
I think the first course of action is to determine why the mold is growing. As Goldwing mentioned, it could be humidity but it seems more likely to me that there's a leak somewhere. In either case, if the moisture cannot be controlled, you'll continue to have the mold problem.
If the mold is concentrated in a few spots, you might try using a spray bottle with a household vinegar/water mixture and let it dry. I would be very reluctant to try bleach as it may discolor the fabric. Vinegar will kill mold but you might not like the smell. Once the area has dried, use a damp cloth and gently blot the area to see if the mold comes up. If there's a residual vinegar smell, some Febreeze should take care of it.
If you're unable to locate a leak, you might consider picking up a small container of Damp Rid at your local hardware store and keep it in the cabin to help minimize the moisture level. Good luck -- I hope this helps!

Hi Guys, I have another couple of problems that you may be able to help me with, bearing in mind I live in Scotland and the steering wheel is on the other side from you guys, the drivers side heated seat,ie the actual seat and not the backrest section stopped working ,it went really hot and then stopped working completely, although other seat is fine and also backrest heats up fine on drivers side, any ideas and likely cause and how to fix would be excellent, also on similar subject ,neither of my seats can be moved with doors closed and will only operate with door open, both seats move ok with either or both doors in open position, rather inconvenient at times. PS the tip on vinegar has worked a treat although I have to do this every week or so,it certainly helped alot,Thanks ,Teak

Hi guys, I have a problem, Sorry I sound like Tom Hanks in Apollo film, just underneath engine cover on crossfire ,there is a pump or electric motor that came on and would not go off even after switching engine off, I had to disconnect the electrical connection on it, this part is located at the top of the engine and is situated between what looks like 2 vaccuum mechanisms, at the top end of the engine, can anyone tell me what it does and what it is for, as car seems to drive as normal,I can`t find any online pictures of it to attempt to describe what it is and what it does, thanks guys,Teak
