The owner said he was a member of this forum. I gave him the URL for this forum and the Fb forum. I also gave him my name for this forum and FB.
He's a very nice gentleman, and hopefully I will see him again at the local cruise on Wednesday night.
I'm on the SLK world forum and I like what they do. They have cards that they hand out with their forum info. I think I'm going to print some out to hand out to any Crossfires I run into.

 

The owner is an older gentleman and takes care of his car and enjoys showing and driving it.

 

I was at the Wednesday night cruise a couple of weeks ago and a rare BMW hatchback parked next to Svengoolie.
It's a 2001 S54 BMW M Coupe based on the Z3 platform. He bought it new.
The owner said that 698 were made between 2001 and 2002 and his is 1 of only 2 white cars made.
I think it's ugly but cool at the same time.

 

Svengoolie is surrounded by red Crossfires!
I've been to a few car shows recently and have run into 3 separate red Crossfires!
On July 20, 2025 I ran into a 2005 limited coupe at a show in Rockaway, NJ.
On August 2, 2025 the man with the 2005 limited roadster showed up at the Saturday night cruise in Towaco, NJ.
Today, August 3, 2025 a 2004 Coupe showed up at a car show in Belvedere, NJ.
All three of them are red! What the heck?

This is a picture that a friend of mine sent to me. It's the only picture I have of me driving my car after two and a half years of owning it.

 

Gawd yes. You should, at least AI is good for imagination. And it actually did a good job. I was not happy with the first one. So the prompt was MORE VADER. It compiled and gave me that nice 3/4 view that looks so sexy!


The first image I felt was not VADER enough.

 

And now my friend who's not a Crossfire owner has made my car into a star ship from Star Trek!

The red 2005 Limited Roadster and the 2006 black Limited Roadster.

My friend Alan is at it again. He's the one who made my car into a Star Trek ship. Now he has made my car into Svengoolie! LOL!

After reading here and on facebook about a few Crossfires catching fire due to problems in the headlight switch, I decide to be proactive and hopefully eliminate the threat.
I have to give credit to Jon Ramdin for his original post on facebook addressing this problem and suggesting inline fuses as the solution.
The following posts are how I did the work on my personal car. I made the posts for reference purposes only. The work you do on your own car is your responsibility.
