Any idea what the manufacturing time line looks like? In other words, how long from the start of production until the last unit is completed?

Thanks for the good news! You may be right in your cynicism, but I'm
thinking that as it has been a while since there was an "official" update
that Devon might be giving you the straight skinny. I'm hopeful.

They have group buys for several makes on different forums and as far as I can tell the story is the same for the others. First production unit (tester) due sometime in march. A month or more of testing and then production. I'm thinking may or june.

after speaking with Dana and Devin last week, ( 3/2/11),, you could expect the first unit maybe and hopefully before June 1. I know they sait March 18 but now there is another set back,(or should I say the same one) can't get the metal they need to make the wave trac the quality the have to have it. without this quality of metal they are not going to make something inferior that we would be unhappy with, ,,,, as soon as they get one fitted , they will let us know,,, and start the shipping ,please let buggin or myself do the phone calling to them. ,,,,, then we will post what we find out. thanks jim

Made the order a few days before the group buy origionally ended.

 

as they have all your parts and you will have the car best suited to test the wavetrac it only makes sense that you get the prototype. from what they told me only 1 prototype has ever been removed . every customer who has a prototype was offered a production unit but not taken up on the offer as the prototypes work flawlessly.

i had asked danny (scsponger) to use his car in the beginning due to the closeness to the shop to avoid delays with shipping and such. sorta pointless now!

 

beaner your deposit was taken on or about 11/28/10 and 32krazy yours was taken on or anout 11/23/10 and mine was taken 11/22/10 at 4:18 pm, also my receipt shows me as customer # 27, what ever that means. , i don't know when you beaner got on the list,, from the dates of the deposit,so now i don;t know what order they will be shipped. .

spot 24 looks fine enough with me! It does not matter if I am 10th or 24th... main thing is, I am on the list and will get here some day

 

I should be on that list also.... I was only off for about 3 or 4 days and then called Devin and had him put me back on.... I'll have to dig out my receipt....
