P.S. You still gonna make the mile this October? I know you were still working out some things with your car.

Anyways, enough OT....more pics of people installing the Wavetrac!!!!
I'm jealous Mike! Can't wait to hear the results from folks. Sucks being on the "still figuring it out" list. Planning on taking the Nürburgring lap tour when I finally get mine!
BTW, when people receive them, can you please PM me or post here so I can mark you off in the 1st post?
Thanks,
Alan

i have gotten 4 messages today about oil for these so far. the oil we want is motul 300 ls 75x90 (has the blessing of wavetrac/UNITRAX and is warranty safe), we have more then enough in stock and ready to ship. for whoever wants us to supply the oil it would be $45 shipped in the continetal US.
i have been trying to find an economical pump to get the fluid from the bottle into the diff for you guys but i haven't found a setup for less then $90 yet
i am still looking for a much cheaper solution. if anyone has a link to a good cheap fluid pump that wil work for this please post it up.
if you will be having a shop do the install they will most likely already have a pump setup, if doing yourself it is somehing to consider. with some ingenuity you can build a "beer bong" setup to get it in, lol.
we will be carrying the lsd's on our site shortly after the first wave of orders make it out to all the group buy participants. (thank you Jim for the call)

I picked up Mobil1 75w140 today.... I can always change to Motul or other later if I feel the need....

Rob, I just changed my diff oil. There is plenty room in there to fill the diff with tall bottles and a 6" hose on the end. No problem at all.
But I would think the cheapest way to go would be a manual fluid pump that looks like a grease gun.
One of this design: http://automotive.hardwarestore.com/...mp-661998.aspx
James
PS here is something that is really inexpensive that should work just fine: http://automotive.hardwarestore.com/...mp-126773.aspx

I got the one like James just posted... they are super cheap. It looks like Motul uses a funky shaped bottle, that's why I recommended the "botle swap", if necessary.

I picked up my car this afternoon.... all the wheels still go round and round... I did a little quick start on the way home, not from a stand still, and it took off very smartly.... but then I heard a funny noise from the back end when it shifted to second....almost like spinning wheels......
I am going to drive it sanely for a week and let it settle in before I get to frisky....
I can take it to Friday night drags or wait till July 2 and an ET Race day.....

im sure everyone is aware but i feel it needs to be said. once the unit is in the cars power will be looking for the next weak link. dont be surpised if an axle or flex plate , carrier bearing takes a powder at the track with the higher hp cars.(JIM!) its the nature of racing

I am still waiting for a call... but I got a mechanic all lined up and the car is waiting. Track nights are on Wednesday starting at 5pm... Lets see what my car can do on street tires!

This is great news! Thanks to Rob and to Wavetrac for making/letting this partnership happen. Always good to know you can trust the people/companies I buy from. This is on my list, but couldn't make the group buy....

Btw wheres a track near your place. The closest to me would probably be Grandbend.
Rob, I will PM you....I will be installing two, so I need enough oil for two....and still hoping to be ready to purchase the zeitronics by end of Aug...hopefully while up for the Woodward thing....back to the LSD delivery. I talked to Devin, and we all should be shipped within 2 weeks...so, I assume we should all have them before July 4th weekend...
Thanks guys for all the great info: packing, shipping, oil, pumps, all that. <thumbs up>
That's what makes this Crossfire group such an awesome bunch of people.

I might even take it before I get the rear end just to get some practice just no hard launch.
Come on Wavetrac!!!
