I also got a "Dear John" call while on this deployment... so I now have a $7000 1ct. platinum engagement ring up for sale if anyone is interested. Pending it's proper return...
I hope you're not offended by me saying this, but how lucky for you this happened now and not sometime later after the vows, because clearly she wasn't thee one. It may not seem like it now, but you should be dancing. 7K is a nice little windfall! Have fun w/ that.

Allen when you are at the "ring" run a few laps for me. I watch the videos all the time too, and that will most likely be as close as I ever get. Make sure you get some videos to share with all of us who would love to be there with you. Enjoy it to the fullest and be safe.

On the Dear John. Not knowing the situation all I can say is your options and furture are again wide open. Wish you the best in making the most of it.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, Allen. I was once there. Lucky me, I hadn't purchased the ring yet, but had the money set aside. That's a pretty shitty thing to get that letter. But like the others said, better now that after a couple children and you're eye-ball-deep in everything. Best of luck to you - with the ring, and especially with the Nurburg Ring!!

Please take videos!

Keep your head up kid...my uncle brought home his bride from Germany....lol....keep us safe, and you be safe...thanks for giving me two fun cars again...lovin' the wavetrac....and as for your former girlfriend...Dear John's are bad, but, she obviously couldn't tell you in person. So she has struggled with it as well...just easier...there are some beautiful women right where you are...enjoy the freedom....

just a heads up... if you install the front diff rubber spacers upside down they will collapse and allow the diff to move up and down by 1/2"!! (dont ask me how i know!) so the new bushing is in and the diff is tight ! time for some test runs!! btw if for some reason the nut on top of the bolt moves its a 17mm . just sayin!

Iam loving going into a turn and goosing it a bit to drift the rear. When this happens, the loss of traction light does not come on, CAUSE they are both turning at the same speed. Wow, its like there is a differential god, Iam happy after the long wait. Woody

WEEKEND

Woody's 450 or so ft.lbs. of torque certainly helps him there.

185 pulley and dual throttle body plus crossflow manifold help the bottom and which is how I got into all of this stuff to begin with. Woody

Steve I am sure you can break em loose. Just a bit more go pedal. At first you will probably get out of it quick and it will snap back rather harshly. After a few of thoes stay in it and it will come back quite nicely and smoothly. My rear tires won't last long cause I am becoming addicted to this new fun. And as Woody says no flashing light. Still learning and getting a bit more confident.

Stay off the grass!

32Krazy, your car can break the rear tires loose in a turn, trust me, I know. When my car passes 4500 at WOT in 2nd the rear starts dancing. Straight line or sweeper. In 3rd the same thing happens in a fast sweeper but not in a straight line and at 5000 rpm. I doubt I have more power than you. It takes time (and cujones) to safely find how far you can push it.

Woody nailed it about the traction control. It hasn't bothered me since I installed the Wavetrac.

i know the car can turn the tires loose at will i have to think after totallling my last 32 out im very anxious when it comes to flying into a corner. thought i could shake it off but honestly it lingers in my head. i would love to find a track or autocross before the gtg to push the car in a safe area. streets have me gunshy!

they should Steve...my coupe is fun as hell, but no real traction....wouldn't do well at the Dragon until proper skins are put on...A/S radials aren't going to hold it...the roadster is a bit more predictable with the summer tire compound...but even it could use a little wider rubber....I enjoy my cars even more now...and what traction control light are you talking about, I just turn it off and launch...time to finish this baby and get to the track...

My light (that won't be named) flashed as I stomped on it on an onramp.
It's off when AXing.

Hi Steve, I'm no expert on LSD's by any means, but I'm thinking that a momentary flash would be normal because it is the initial speed difference between the two axles that triggers the Wavetrac to step into action. So the light can now be looked at as the quick notice that your Wavetrac is about to do its magic.

It does a lot of flashing in the rain.... The cars saw 500 miles over the weekend, more really, and absolutely not a problem at all with the wavetrac...great engineering, great traction, except while hydroplaning in a rain storm...but, solid as a rock to drive.

Awesome!
Hey Bob, you gonna race with us this weekend? You can drive my car and see if you notice a difference with the Wavetrac.

How could I say no to that?! Look forward to it. How is it so far for you? I know there's a learning curve here (pun intended).
