Is This Why People Don't Trust Science?
Cant we go really really fast and either outrun the swiss cheese back holes (mold?) or go back in time before it happens? Then we could pre-order/ get even more options that we like and such! ? woody

The oddness will start to be more pronounced as we reach the epicentre in the temporal fractures (which will be the moment of collision of various particles). Have fun.

Admit it, the Daleks leaked tech to CERN that is going to cause strangeness on a massive scale.
Or perhaps the plan is to create a quantity of Higg's bosoms so massive that it causes an implosion due to a strong attractive force?
With the Torchwood team out chasing a fish in a red XF roadster, we'll just have to hope that the Doctor shows up in time. Or maybe if I put these two wires into a fresh cup of really hot tea . . .

In any event, once Waldig finishes his calculations of the part of the Swiss cheese that isn't and can tell us when all of our warranties will catastrophically expire, we should all meet at the tallest restaurant in the world where the view will be excellent, the wine fine and the company superb !!

Not again.
The Flux Capacitor Group Buy always falls through because they'll only make them when there are 10 of us who want them.
My heart can only take so much.

I'm thinking supercharger upgrade . . .
By making instant coffee in a microwave oven, You can actually go back in time! You are limited to small leaps, so the process must be repeated several times.
I think this could hold us until a flux capacitor group buy can be put together. Until then some one needs to keep a watchful eye on Hairy Dalek, he appears to be an agent for change from a foreign location.

Gentlemen, gentlemen........
You forget that as any object, including our hardons, approach a black hole & begin to enter the Event Horizon they will stretch & get longer & longer & longer because the gravitational pull is stronger as you get closer. This whole CERN thing may be a giant boon to MANkind! I don't know about you guys but a little extra length on any hardon can only be a good thing!
Besides Chuck's EXCELLENT observation of exactly where hardon's go when they collide I feel I must present the following simply to clear-up any common misconceptions about time travel.
If I may:
From a Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawkins, chapter 9, page 145, paragraph 2: "First there is the thermodynamic arrow of time, the direction of time in which disorder or entropy increases. Then there is the psychological arrow of time. This is the direction in which we feel time passes, the direction in which we remember the past but not the future. Finally, there is the cosmological arrow of time. This is the direction of time in which the universe is expanding rather than contracting."
So, it appears that even CERN & hardon collisions will not help us achieve any time travel. Sigh.......
BUT, true fact: the faster we move the more time we gain. The closer one approaches the speed of light the more time slows for the participant so therefore we gain time the faster we go! I consider this the perfect excuse to drive fast at all times.
We only gain a few nanoseconds but, hey, every nanosecond counts!!!

Now I will feel better when I see others driving slowly in the left lane.

You're a gentleman and a scholar.
Perhaps a "Picnic at the End of the World" atop the Cherohala Skyway at the Dragon GTG?

BTW, That's a hard climb for an old guy. I'll bring my nitro pills too.

LOL!, That is a great site for those who need an answer without the hype!
