Interior door pulls
Hi syfi
I did tell them I wanted it for a crossfire but I sent them this photo with sizes and colour. Its charcoal with light grey stitching. Should point out that it shows about the same amount of chrome on the other end as well so it looks even on both edges, you just cant see it in the photo.

What is it that you are looking for help with?
Thanks!
I've taken the front part of the handle off, but I couldn't get the back part off. I was doing a post on reinforcing the door handles because eventually they will break.
Door handle reinforcement
You can take a look at this thread and post # 15 in the thread shows what the back of the door panel looks like.
Door panel removal
This link has a great picture of the back of the door panel and you can see how the pull handle is connected.

You could also find someone selling one and ask them for the measurements. Hopefully this is helpful.
All you need to do is remove the silver cover. It pops in half. To remove the actual pull, there are two bolts under the cover that hold it on. You do not need to remove the door panel.
First on the list is to take apart the two piece door handle using a painters spatula. Carefully wedge and pry the two inner and outer halves apart from the bottom groove of the handle applying moderate pressure.

It wasn't necessary to remove it for what I was doing, but I was curious to see how they came apart.

Wrong information here. The picture shows how to remove one half and it is correct that what's left on the door is attached by two screws but even then you can't get the door-pull handle off without taking apart your door. From behind the door you can depress these clips: CLICK
There might even be glue/epoxy involved, I can't remember.
Either way, door panel must be removed, which is held in by those little white plastic retainers that are known to break so make sure you have those. If you just want to wrap it, there are other ways - something like this Leather Door pull
And if you are just going to wrap it, because the chrome seam behind the door pull is starting to come apart, you can just place a small strip of translucent tape back there. Nobody would feel it or see it. Did that on my old Coupe so people wouldn't cut their fingers lol.
I look forward too seeing what you come up with! Keep us posted.
So far I have a template for the back of the drivers side door. Since there is a line/seam where the front and back meet I thought it might be odd to have one solid wrap, but I think I will try to make one of those too and see how it looks. I will work on the front template this weekend. I purchased some chrome vinyl self adhesive paper that I am going to use to test it all out once I have all the templates made. So far, so good!

The omnipotent onehundred80 showed the solution in a recent thread. Here's the pic he posted showing the clips you have to depress after removing the door panel...
