Default transmission surges downward?!

ok so these are the "mod's" i have, 74mm tb, v8 airbox, 275/35 rear. that is about it. the work i had done on transmission are the new conductor plate, tcc solenoid, and a sonnex valve overlap sleeve kit.
with that said, here are the issues. (have had these even before the tranny. work listed)
the only way to describe it is the transmission surges downward a couple rpm? specifically when im on cruise about 60mph there is a turn right after an overpass, while i descend the rpm's drop a bit, then once i'm done going downhill the rpm's goes back to where it was. also at residential speeds (25/35 mph) she shifts into 1st and 2nd at 2500 rpm but then third is 2k and then i think she goes into 4th then there is the drone. she kind of slams into 3rd if im going up a hill or on ramp launch (unless i slap stick).
i have manually downshifted at a stop then upshift into 2nd, then when im launching i put her into 3rd then there is hesitation and the down surge then she goes about her business.
i think it's either valve body related, or the wrong tranny. fluid, maybe a wheel speed sensor? i have an appt. monday to have them check the solenoids for lack of resistance and see if anything else funky is going on there. it seems to be isolated between 3rd and 4th. she never slips and the engine runs strong, uphill no problemo.

I don't know, but since it's worse when turning or descending I'd check the transmission fluid level using the correct dipstick. You make it sound as if the fluid moving around in the pan is causing the symptoms. Low fluid?

wow! fastest reply ever! monday, i'm taking it to a "transmission specialist" and they are going to check solenoids and i guess do a tranny. service. i wonder when was the last time i had it serviced, apparently every 20k miles the trans. should have a service? i doubt its neglect on my behalf, the place i had it serviced at last didn't have the dipstick when i asked them to check the fluid the other day. what kind ***t is that. they recommended another service. i wish there was a crossfire sage i could take it to. all the german shops snub me cause of chrysler badging, and chrysler do not know there butt from a hole in the ground. i know the 5 speed makes it shift funny, but dayum.

I purchased one of ebay and now realize ANY dipstick thats long enough and flexible enough will do. All you need to know is distance from the pan when cold and hot. My dipstick is 2 feet too long. How it works is this. Shove it in until it bottoms out on the pan, pull it out and look at the marks. It has 2, one for cold and one for 80º centigrade. If you know those distances any wire, cable, dipstick will work. This forum has those distances in several places and if you search you'll find them along with pictures.

Agreed, before I acquired the dipstick I have ( found one on eBay for $12.95 with free shipping ), I used a long nylon tie-wrap.

Lets throw a wild guess out here.. It doesn't happen when cruise is off-just coasting?
I've noticed "downhill".. she does something or another to maintain the cruise control speed.
My experience is on a fairly steep downhill grade.. and she does much more than "slight" rpm drop.
Could be left field here but I'm thinking your going to be chasing a "by design" "problem" per say..

I once was discussing how it seemed that my trans would sound like it was shifting slightly and the engine RPM would decrease very slightly but remain in the same gear.
It was explained to me by "
James1549" that this is the normal characteristic of the trans. and what I am hearing is the torque converter operating as it should.

I'm not sure if this is what you are describing but I wanted to offer this info anyway
