OBD readings not fault codes
Ok I just got one of these and see that my intermittent engine management light problem is P0410 so I will check the air pump connectors, vac pipes and relay solder over the weekend. However is there any where on this site, I have searched but failed, where it is explained what all the other measurements and readings mean on all the other pages on the laptop. Is there a "normal" run spec sheet that i can compare my readings to.

I added it to this post. (click here)
I am not quite sure what you want though.

Those are brilliant and very useful, however it was all the other settings I was on about that show up on the sensor data pages like RPM and Air Flow Rate and intake air temperature etc, just wondered what these should all be. Thanks.
This list of codes was once in the documentation thread I think but is not there anymore.

No codes = all is well with the car.
For readings other than faults, such as those you mention you need an UltraGauge or something similar which I guess you have.
What are the good measurements? I do think anyone has logged them here except in the odd post or two.
Ok thats great thanks, I was just wondering so will only use it for the codes.
Do you know what OBD stands for?

Dunno what you bought but in the US $20 and an Android phone or tab gets you a Mini dongle and Torque.
Torque can do many thins such as
1) identify what sensors your car reports
2) display them
3) report trouble codes
4) identify them
5) prepare a history of all recored tests
6) email report to you
7) record trips including GPS location
Have only had the Crossfire for two days so still installing electronics (Clarion M303, 8" tab) so just using phone for moment (tab can display 17 parameters).

Yep spot on, thanks
Hard to give a "standard" reading since they vary all over the place depending on the driving conditions.
Mostly I just monitor "important" parameters like temperatures, voltages, MPG (ave. and instant), rpm and MPH - that is for my Jeep, am still learning the Crossfire for example it appears to be MAF like GM and not MAP like most MOPAR. Trims and such I watch more for a sudden change than a particular value.
That said has anyone found a bolt-in pumpkin with a 2.60:1ish ratio rather than 3.25:1 ? Second is lower than first in my Muncie & the Judge has a 3.55:1. 2500 @ 70 mph is too bleeping high. I really do not need to pull stumps.

Of course I use the same device for sat-nav, entertainment (over 10GB of CDs on an SDCard), and surfing the web. Usually when driving I just select an album or artist, start the music, and switch to the engine monitor.
Just bought a Clarion M303 to add an aux input and Bluetooth handsfree. Just was comparing Sirrus to the tab and IMNSHO the sound quality from the tab is far superior.
Just want the same capability in the Crossfire I have in the heep.

I have the home page of my UltraGuage set for :
MPH ........................... RPM
ENG TEMP .................. IAT TEMP
INSTANT MPG ............. AVG MPG
Engine temp runs from 182F to 210F dependent on OAT and A/C usage
IAT temp starts same as OAT, then after heat soak runs 7 - 20 degrees F higher depending on speed and OAT ( I have a single NW CAI )
AVG MPG runs around 30 - 33 ( bit high, never fine tuned the calibration )

That is exactly how I have the first screen on my phone set so easy to see. Torque supports two more screen so could have 12 more parameters available with a swipe or two.
Part of my issue is that I have more than one car and move between them. Each has its own dongle but my goal is "one device to control them all" that stays with me so I can find the nearest Subway when walking. Am not there yet. Today it takes Windows to integrate a rear view camera.
The new breed of 8" (pocketable) Windows tablets that should be available on Black Friday is getting very close. So far only the Toshiba Encore seems to include a GPS.
I have lots of tablets and to consider a new one it must have the "Big 4": HDMI, USB, microSD Card, and GPS.
What we do not have (yet) is a universal docking station but am working on that. Until then I am using stalks that bolt to the seat mount and CD slot mounts.
