Starter will stay engaged until the engine starts or until some specified time has elapsed.
Owners manual says no towing, flat bed only. I guess if it was a couple of yards it would not matter, so how far is a block? More than a couple of yards?

Towing 30 miles below 30 mph per manual, so 200 yards does not seem unreasonable, unless member experience has shown otherwise

It is at the rear of the left cyl bank on the block w/ a metal shield around the back & lower side . Must pop off top engine cover to access it .

Swapped out the crank and cam sensors at curbside, kept the old ones, disconnected the negative. Still no joy, and still throwing the same obd2 codes, will have to dig deeper into the control module s. Manuals.

Switch the coil for one on the other side of the engine and see if the error moves to the new position.

Easy enough to swap coils, but none of them appears to be firing, haven't stuck my nose at the exhaust, or pulled a valve cover off to see if anythings moving or fueling. Starter sticking may make that simple to do.
fire triangle fuel air ignition

Did it suddenly lose power or did it just fade away?
Can you hear the fuel pump when you turn on the ignition to the position just before the start position with the doors closed and the window down?

More like died and rolled to a stop, was only going about 15-20 at the time, yes I can hear fuel pump cycle and it sounds normal. Was cold and raining today, and I'ma fighting a cold so didn't swap coils today. Neighbor helped me push it into his driveway. Hope to get it back and into my garage tommorow. Service manual is on my office computer. BTW 180 your write up on crankshaft sensor replacement was excellent, but bolt was too tight for my flex extension, and had to buy several short extensions to get enough slop to get it broken free. Thanks for your reply.

Pulled fuse #11 which appeared good and put in spare, engine started and ran for 30 seconds and quit. Would not start again, both fuses test good. Will attempt to get to back of fuse panel.
