No power to convertible top hydraulic pump
Dealer told me I needed a new module. I ordered on on Bay and it doesn't work either.
The pump doesn't appear to be getting any power. Any ideas out there???

What happens when you unlatch the top, do the windows go down? When you push the button, does it flash red? Are you sure the divider is seated on the trunk? Dealers do not know these cars. Did they buy and install the module?
Thank you ZRacer.
Windows don't go down
Red light blinks and beeps
Divider is in place
I installed the new module and no response.
Thepump is not responding
The dealer charged me $287 to troll me it was the module.
Very frustrated

If the windows don't go down, it sounds like the sensor mounted in the windshield header has gone bad. The TCM is not being told the top is unlatched so it will now allow the pump to function. Do you know how to operate the top manually?

1) What module did you replace? (The pump assembly? The Power Top Control Module?)
2) Does the light flash or stay on all the time or just when you turn the "D" handle? (If it's on steady all the time, the cycle probably did not complete the last time the top was moved, resync of the top often fixes this. If it blinks constantly, it is an indication of "major error", this is often an issue with the CLP-SSM (Central Locking Pump/Security System Module).
3) I'd remove the trim from the entire trunk, inspect for water intrusion in the passenger side wheel well - is the CLP-SSM OK or has it been wet? A wet CLP-SSM will disable the top and cause all sorts of odd indications. The last two non-working tops I managed to fix were not issues with the top at all, but were caused by water-logged CLP-SSMs - most dealerships have NO CLUE what to do or even what to look for.

If you can find a Mercedes dealer that will work on the car, you are fortunate. If you take the car to a Chrysler dealer, they are not going to be able to diagnose or fix anything more than a flat tire or dead battery.
See my siglines and don't do that again.
TO RESYNC THE TOP:
Follow the instructions in this video and do the procedure THREE TIMES, fully, including the Hex Key. Have the engine running the entire time.

PIZZAGUY,
I think we may become close friends as I try to get my Crossfire top working.I just put it winter storage at my next door neighbor, but I can access it at any time. My big problem is I don'y know how to check the relays and switches to see if they are working. Can you recommend a scanner for the crossfire and directions on how to use itI like you Chrysler Stealership comment. They have no idea on how to service a Crossfire. I could bring it to a Mercedes Dealership, however I like the challenge of doing it my self with help from guys like you.
All suggestions are welcome.

Mercedes dealerships usually will not work on Crossfires. Your best bet is an independent shop that works on Mercedes. The top, not so much.
Thank for all of you great suggestions.
I'm trying to go one step at a time.
I know that the windows don't go down when I open the "D" lever and lift the top part way. The swittch on the console used to blink red and beeped. Now there is know red light or beeping.
Also, when I got the car the spoiler button worked, now it blinks red and nothing happens. It does engage while driving when I hit 62 mph.
I read that the spoiler malfunction could affect the top malfunction. I know how to check all the fuses but not sure how to check k switches, sensors and relays.
Losing sleep at night!!!

DTC readers don't help here, because the top system is not part of engine management or emissions control.
