Looking at a car and saw this...need some expertise.
hmmm....doesn't look severe, just maybe never been cleaned - general road/engine dirt.
Looks like mine did when I bought it at 70k miles.
Give it a clean and recheck a couple of hundred miles later.

Can't really tell for sure. But a couple of pictures look like either the crankcase breather covers (mounted on top of valve covers) and/or the valve covers may be leaking. The crankcase breather covers are prone to developing leaks as the gasket is only an RTV-type sealant and the factory installation was very poor quality. There are quite a few posts about repairing this issue.
Some folks have had actual valve cover leaks and you can get new gaskets for that.

Later,
That one photo shows oil seeping out of the breather cover seal - like 95% of all other Crossfires do eventually.
No reason to not buy the car!

How much would it cost to take of these issues?
Also the Headliner is starting to come off. What's the typical cost for that?
Thanks.

Been a couple of years since I did it, but to clean the breather, I think you get better access to the internal galleries by pulling the full covers off ..??
Mine were full of crap since the previous owner didnt change the oil for at least 35k miles prior and possibly even used semi synthetic - #lotsofgunk.
Use MB recomm. RTV and maybe consider changing the cover gaskets whilst out.
PS - If the oil is clean on a tissue wipe of the dipstick - not always guarantee of good service intervals - may have just been changed - should use MB recommended Mobil1_0W-40 as well = $$.

And as a precaution, when performing the crankcase breather repair, never re-use the aluminum screws that hold these down on the valve covers. These are a 1x use only! And don't require much tightening force (maybe 3-4 ft-lbs). Just slightly over "finger tight" will do. Otherwise, you'll break the screw head off & then be required to extract a screw thread using an "easy-out". Motor is typically "rock solid" in these cars, but it isn't "Detroit iron". Takes more "precision or critical" maintenance than a "backyard mechanic" tugging & pulling on these engines.
Regarding the headliner, again, many of us have completed a recovering ourselves. Somewhat of a pain getting the headliner out & back in. And lost of prep work to get the headliner thoroughly clean before recovering it. If you remove the headliner yourself & take it to an upholstery shop for recovering, probably going to cost you $100-$150. If you have the upholstery shop remove & re-install the headliner, probably talking $250-$300.
And as pizzaguy stated, neither of these would keep me from purchasing the car in & by themselves.

Yeah - I saw this in the PDF exploded view I attached to an earlier post in this thread. Never really paid much attention to the diagram. Clearly shows the 2 gaskets/seals.
Might be the only who's experienced it to look, but I thought I saw oil flung on the rubber boot by the SC pulley. I would suggest wiping it off and checking the smell of it. If it's putrid smelling, the SC clutch is leaking from behind and will need a new blower.....been there, done that. Hopefully it is just belt dust, but there's a lot of it there.
Here is my 2 cents for headliner:

That is my take on it anyway.
